AR:  

• Please read daily, Monday through Thursday, and once on the weekend. Remember to write what you have read on your AR Log!
• Please remember to read one nonfiction AR book each month. 
• May 24 is the last day to make May AR goal.
   

Math:

• Multiplication timed tests for mastery 
• Making a table to solve a problem
• Identifying a fractional part of a set
• Determining age
• Multiplying a one-digit number and a two-digit number using mental computation
• Multiplying a multiple of 10, 100, or 1,000 by a single-digit number
• Identifying transformations, translations, rotations, and reflections
   

Each day our math includes a review of the following elements:
calendar, temperature, counting, patterns, time, money, problem solving strategies, fact practice and a new concept or reviewing a concept that was just introduced.

Some students are also doing timed tests in Grade 3. PDF copies of "practice" timed tests are available below for students who would like to practice their timed tests at home:
