Items to Save

Thank you so much for your past participation in the following programs which benefit the students at our school.  We have been able to obtain many items for our schools we would not otherwise have been able to purchase!  By collecting box tops, Kemps caps, and Food Club receipts, we raised nearly $5,000 in funds for SKD in 2011. Funds from these programs have been used for technology, videos, DVDs, phy-ed equipment, and much more.  We continue to ask your participation in collecting, and sending to school, the following items.  If you do not have a child at St. Katharine Drexel, you may drop these items into the collection boxes at each church.  

 BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

  Save Box top coupons from hundreds of General Mills products throughout the grocery store.  Watch for the small Box Tops symbol on products, remove the Box Top itself, and if you really want to help us, cut it along the lines surrounding the Box Top. 

 KEMPS 

  NOTE: The "Give 'em Five" program will be ending on November 1st, 2012. Please send all caps in
to the office by October 15th, 2012 so we have time to mail them in and receive credit.
The “Give ‘em Five” program has been successful both for Kemps and for our school.  Collect milk caps from half gallon and gallon milk containers, seals from cardboard milk cartons, sour cream, or cottage cheese containers, etc., and send them to school to be counted and shipped. 

 LABELS FOR EDUCATION 

       Redeeming Campbells soup labels has netted the schools many pieces of phy-ed equipment, globes, games, videos, etc. through the years.  Just clip the barcode with the Campbell’s character next to it from the label from products such as soups, Goldfish crackers, Franco American, Pace, Pepperidge Farms, Swanson, Prego, V8, Healthy Request, etc. 

 COBORNS “LABELS FOR LEARNING” 

  This is an easy program designed to allow schools to earn much-needed funds for school programs.  Simply collect, and send to school, the Labels for Learning Points register receipt that you get along with your regular register receipts.  Points are received for the purchase of Food Club, Top Care, Paws, and Full Circle products.
