A Little Bit About Us
At St. Katharine Drexel, the foundation of our educational journey is built upon strong pillars that guide our every endeavor. We pride ourselves on being a united team, working collaboratively to ensure that each student thrives and flourishes. With a dedicated staff that is both movemindfully and Barton trained, we prioritize the holistic development of every student – addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Our unwavering commitment lies in nurturing the whole child, fostering an environment where feelings are understood, emotions are regulated, and stress is managed. We instill in our students the values of compassion and support, encouraging them to extend a helping hand to others.
Safety and encouragement form the cornerstones of our learning environment, where high rigor academics challenge young minds while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere.
As a part of the Catholic Community School system, St. Katharine Drexel provides students of all religious and ethnical backgrounds with a strong education that will set the foundation of their lives. We believe that strong faith leads to strong families.
We provide an environment that fosters much more than a strong academic curriculum. We provide our students:
- A foundation of faith.
- A community that feels like family.
- A focus on growing social and emotional skills.
- A place to belong and grow.

Our Patron Saint
St. Katharine Drexel
St. Katharine Drexel was raised by her wealthy father to believe that their wealth did not belong to them. Rather, it was loaned to them and needed to be shared with others.
Throughout her life, she served others as a missionary and gave her millions of dollars of inheritance to the poor. In 1891, St. Katharine Drexel founded the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. These sisters were entirely devoted to the care of African Americans and Native Americans. They provided for the physical, spiritual and educational needs of the poorest of the poor.
Later in life, St. Katharine Drexel founded over 60 schools for the poor and indigenous.
We honor, admire, and aim to mirror St. Katharine Drexel’s leadership, commitment to service, and generosity.
