Join the SKD family
The first education experiences for your child are so exciting! Watching them learn new skills and develop new interests is rewarding for both of you. These early education experiences are also critical to their physical, academic, and spiritual development. At St. Katharine Drexel, we help children develop their whole being - body, mind, and spirit. We hope you and your family join us on this important journey. Below, we have outlined our simple admissions process. If you have any questions along the way, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out to our Principal, Sheri Rutar at 320-251-2376 or srutar@ourcatholicschool.org. See you soon!
Step 1 // Schedule a Tour
People always tell us that they can feel the difference when they walk through our doors. We’d love for you to come feel the difference for yourself! Once you’re here, the family feel and personalized education environment we talk about will come to life. Bring your questions, and we’ll be sure to answer them, so you can feel comfortable and confident that you’re making the best decision for your child.
Step 2 // Fill Out an Application
Let’s get started – this is so exciting! You can grab an application at your school tour, or you can apply online. The application helps us get a better feel for your child and your family. Within a couple days of receiving your application, we’ll be in touch with more information!
Step 3 // Learn about Variable Tuition
Is a Catholic education worth the investment? Absolutely yes. Our mission at St. Katharine Drexel is to make quality Catholic education available and accessible to all who value it. We will not turn away families due to financial need. Instead, we offer a variable tuition model. Variable tuition factors in each family’s unique financial situation to determine a tuition fee that works for your family.
Step 4 // Connect with the SKD community!
Celebrate this exciting step in your child’s education and faith formation! We will work with you and your child to help ensure you all feel comfortable and welcomed at St. Katharine Drexel. We are SO happy you’re here. Want a sneak peek into being an SKD student? Check out our Facebook page!
We can't wait to meet your family!
Meet our Principal, Sheri Rutar. We love her, and we think you will too!

We would make any sacrifice necessary to send our kids to St. Katharine Drexel school because they maintain the Benedictine values that the school was founded on and they are unapologetically Catholic. You simply cannot put a price on the unparalleled education that children receive at SKD. While we may invest our money, the faculty and staff invest their hearts and souls into forming our children into saints and there is no greater return on investment than that.

Former SKD StudentSt. Katharine Drexel helped shape me as a person not only through education, but faith as well. Having the opportunity to attend SKD prepared me fully for what came next in life, and I still think about my time there even out of high school. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have been an SKD student!
