Set the Foundation
The first education experiences for your child are so exciting! Watching them learn new skills and develop new interests is rewarding for both of you. These early education experiences are also critical to their physical, academic, and spiritual development. At St. Katharine Drexel, we help children develop their whole being - body, mind, and spirit. We hope you and your family join us on this important journey. Below, we have outlined our simple admissions process. If you have any questions along the way, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out to our Principal, Erin Hatlestad, at 320-251-2376 or firstname.lastname@example.org. See you soon!
Step 1 // Schedule a Tour
People always tell us that they can feel the difference when they walk through our doors. We’d love for you to come feel the difference for yourself! Once you’re here, the family feel and personalized education environment we talk about will come to life. Bring your questions, and we’ll be sure to answer them, so you can feel comfortable and confident that you’re making the best decision for your child.
Step 2 // Fill Out an Application
Let’s get started – this is so exciting! You can grab an application at your school tour, or you can apply online. The application helps us get a better feel for your child and your family. Within a couple days of receiving your application, we’ll be in touch with more information!
Step 3 // Learn about Faith Based Covenant
Is a Catholic education worth the investment? Absolutely yes. Our mission at St. Katharine Drexel is to make quality Catholic education available and accessible to all who value it. We will not turn away families due to financial need. Instead, we offer a Faith Based Covenant rather than charging Tuition. Faith-Based Covenant asks parents, in gratitude for blessings received, to make a prayerful financial investment in their child(ren)’s education. Learn more about Faith Based Covenant.
Step 5 // Celebrate!
We prefer ice cream, but you can decide how to celebrate this exciting step in your child’s education and faith formation! We’ll be working with you and your child to help ensure you all feel comfortable and welcomed here at St. Katharine Drexel. We are SO happy you’re here. Want a sneak peek into being an SKD Crusader? We can't wait to meet your family!
Meet our Principal, Mrs. Hatlestad. We love her, and we think you will too!
“Welcome to St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School where all of our students learn and grow in an environment that emphasizes spiritual growth, academic excellence and community service. As the Principal of St. Katharine Drexel, it is my sincere pleasure and honor to be a member of this caring and committed school community.”
~Erin Hatlestad, Principal
We would make any sacrifice necessary to send our kids to St. Katharine Drexel school because they maintain the Benedictine values that the school was founded on and they are unapologetically Catholic. You simply cannot put a price on the unparalleled education that children receive at SKD. While we may invest our money, the faculty and staff invest their hearts and souls into forming our children into saints and there is no greater return on investment than that.

St. Katharine Drexel helped shape me as a person not only through education, but faith as well. Having the opportunity to attend SKD prepared me fully for what came next in life, and I still think about my time there even out of high school. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have been an SKD student!

We did a lot of research when searching for the right school to send our girls to. We are so happy to have found St. Katharine Drexel. Our girls have grown so much in their academics, faith, and social maturity since starting at SKD. We are incredibly grateful for the teachers and staff at SKD.
